Search Toronto Condos
Toronto condos are as popular as ever! Despite an approximate 20% increase over the last few years, the condominium lifestyle allows purchasers to live in Toronto’s most popular neighborhoods at a fraction of the price of a single-detached home. Condominiums now outsell single-detached homes two to one in the central core.
This trend is particularly true of waterfront Toronto condos. The low inventory has been pushing prices upward for the past decade. However, the city's new waterfront condos, priced around $410 per square foot, still represent a bargain when compared to other large cities in North America. A comparable unit in a similar location would run you $600 per square foot in Chicago, $700 in Boston and $1,000 in Manhattan. And unlike other major cities, Toronto's waterfront is not the most expensive area in the city. That honour goes to the Yorkville neighbourhood.
